She stole the soap with amazing stroy. Her low seld esteem, loneliness and desperate seek for someone to care about her caused her to do some horrible deeds over the years. From a brat of a child to grow up going through drugs, alchol, depression and prostitution. She later seeks a better life and uses people to get what she wants (money and power) then leaves them in shambles after shes done or in Barry's case throw them down a Socttish mountain.
After her imprisoment she returned seeming more sympathetic and genuine. However had a hard time with people due to her past.
She fell in love with Archie but got stuck up in his twisted mind in taking over the Vic.
She thought she finaly had everyhthing she wanted until Archie showed his true colours, revealing how he had used her and he chucked her out.
Then Archie died and despite what he had done to her, she showed how much he loved him by still feeling devested by his death.
After loosing Archie and through the pain he had caused her and now being broke and humiliated, things could not look worse until she was believed to be responsible for his death.
After being freed from charges she was still attacked by everyone as responsible.
However she finally finds new happiness and fun with a new man.
He helped her find the better sides of herself while still having fun and she was finally happy.
That is until she found out he had someone elses baby, Janine does not take it very well and it has horrible results.
